Rikeesa is doing everything possible to protect our staff, clients and the community. In addition to state, local and CDC guidelines we have implemented extra layers of protection for everyone’s health and safety.
Upon your arrival you must contact the front desk from the parking lot (203-272-1877, 203-272-1878) to let us know you have arrived. The front door will be unlocked to let you in. You must have a mask on before entering the building at which point your temperature will be taken with a no-touch thermometer at a sanitation station to sanitize your hands and take a brief health questionnaire.
All tools and surfaces will be sanitized and disinfected between each client. As always we use only clean capes and towels stored in closed receptacles.
Now more than ever it is important to confirm your appointment. Confirmation requests are sent out 48 hours in advance via email or text. We will do our best to reach out to you by phone if you have not confirmed your appointment however this will not exempt you from confirming. If we do not receive confirmation it may result in us canceling your appointment and a service charge of $25 or 25% of your total service will be added to your next appointment. Please understand we have many clients waiting and are making every attempt to accommodate them as well as you.
Cancelation/no-show policy: We will not be penalizing for any last-minute cancellations due to illness, however we are making every effort to accommodate our clients. If you do not cancel your appointment 24 hours prior you will incur a 50% service charge added to your next appointment. Giving us 24 hours’ notice allows us to offer other clients that space that are on a waiting list.
Late arrivals: We have added extra time for each client to properly sanitize and sterilize all surfaces and tools between clients. If you are more than 5 minutes late for your appointment it may be cancelled and a service fee of 50% of your service added to your next appointment.
Only the person receiving the service will be allowed in the salon, no children will be allowed, as we are practicing safe social distancing and space is limited.
Our coffee and snack bar will be closed temporarily.
Retail purchases: All retail will be handled by staff only. You can make the purchase through the Pocket Salon app or let the staff at the front desk know which products you are buying and they will have them ready for you at the checkout point.
No testers will be available.
We will be implementing a $3.00 surcharge on nails, facial waxing, haircuts, and blow-dries and a $6.00 surcharge on all chemical services, facials, body treatments, massages. This is to help defer the costs of the supplies and PPE’s that are needed to keep everyone safe and healthy.
